About

At its heart, my work is driven by curiosity and a sense of play. Each painting is part of an ongoing conversation with memory, time, reverie, and environment. Inspired by patterns in nature, geometric structures, and the unseen currents that shape our inner and outer worlds, I aim to create paintings that invite viewers to drift, pause, and play within the unknown. My hope is that each painting stirs curiosity. The paintings use rich color and liminal forms to explore themes of environmental loss and renewal, embodied thinking, and the way memories move in and out of awareness. Geometric and organic forms blend and unravel, suggesting both fragility and resilience. There is an undercurrent of tension, a reckoning with damage and a hope for repair and regeneration within a shifting, uncertain world.
Working intuitively, I follow what emerges on the canvas. It’s often a process of getting lost and finding my way again, allowing themes to come into focus and dissolve, trusting that something meaningful will take shape. Through this unfolding, I discover new connections—between memory, imagination, and observation. For me, painting is embodied thinking, an intuitive, physical form of questioning. At times, it feels like channeling: giving shape to something collective. Through color, form, and gesture, I tap into the emotional undercurrents of the present—a reflection of the zeitgeist moving through personal and ecological experience.
